  • Cunico, the largest ferro-nickel producer in Europe and a mid-sized producer of African copper and cobalt
  • BSGR Guinea Corp - focused on iron ore, bauxite and uranium in Guinea

• Steinmetz Diamond Group:
  • World leader in rough diamond trading, large polished diamonds and leading customer of De Beers

Capital Markets

• Jointly with the Republic National Bank of New York (currently HSBC), led by the late Edmond Safra, BSG participated in incorporation of the Hermitage Fund, which invested in the emerging Russian equity markets
• In-house portfolios investing in private equity, hedge funds, commodities, currencies and equities globally
