We are delighted to announce that Da Vinci CIS Private Sector Growth Fund Limited was the first fund company to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s Specialist Fund Market (SFM) on May 29th 2008. Ticker: DVPS LN.
Da Vinci CIS Private Sector Growth Fund Limited is a Guernsey closed-ended company targeting investments in private companies in the CIS planning an IPO, strategic sale or management buy-out in the next two to four years, as well as small cap companies already listed on the region's markets.
The Company aims to achieve medium-term capital growth through investments primarily in unlisted equity and equity-related securities and other instruments of companies that are located in Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Approximately USD 90mn of capital was raised in a private placement in January 2008. With additional finds that have been raised subsequently, a total of approximately USD 110mn was admitted to trading on the day.
